Tonya
Carruthers, is a native of Plano, Texas. She has over has over 12 years of
experience in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition. Tonya has held leadership
roles in several Fortune 500 companies such as, JCP, WalMart, Pizza Hut and is
currently the Global Talent Acquisition Manager for Interstate Batteries.
Tonya is sought out to share her expertise in various forums such as Diversity panels and conferences, HR summits, colleges and universities, and has been featured in magazines and on radio shows.
Tonya has a BA degree in HR Administration from Texas Women’s University. In 2009 she obtained her Professional Human Resources certification. Tonya is a board member of the Society of Human Resource Management and the National Association of African Americans in Human Resource (“NAAAHR”) Dallas chapters.
