Ellisa Alexandria Brown born to Edward and Natalie Brown in Plano, Texas in 1996 graduated from Ursuline Academy of Dallas in May 2015. Ellisa graduated Summa Cum Laude and a member of National Honors Society as well as being very active in her school, church and community during her high school career. Ellisa received recognition as a National Achievement Scholarship Program Outstanding Participant.
Ellisa knows the importance of giving back and serving others. Participating in community service agencies including being an Ambassador for A-WOW ILGI, JKF Sixth Floor Museum's Advisory committee, and Carrollton Elementary Volunteers. Ellisa will continue this streak of excellence by attending Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD in the fall, majoring in Political Science with minors in Economics and Social Policy.
However, Ellisa will not be making this journey to college on her own. She is being supported scholarships awarded from the following organizations; Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce, Executive Women International Scholarship Program Dallas Chapter, Continental Societies Inc. Dallas Chapter and Midwest-Western Regional, and Ellisa has been selected as a Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship Award 2015 Recipient!
