Dr. Remi Ihekwaba


Dr. Remi Ihekwaba is President of RIA International Education Consultants (RIA). RIA provides variety of international education services and analysis for businesses and universities in America, Canada, Africa, Asia, and South America.

From 2007 until 2009, he was Professor of Higher Education Administration and Leadership at Jones International University (JIU), where he taught online educational courses to graduate students seeking to become high school principals and/or university senior level administrators. Prior to joining JIU, Dr. Ihekwaba served as Texas Woman's University first Director of International Education Office and adjunct Professor from 2001-2006. While at TWU, he directed the admission process of international students (undergraduate and graduate). He also directed all study abroad and international partnership initiatives. He directed the immigration and visa advisory services related to F-1 students and other related visa categories.

Dr. Remigus Ihekwaba obtained his Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration and Leadership from University of Texas in Austin in 2001; Master of International Relation/Business in 1994 from Sul Ross State University, and Bachelor degree in English/Communication from Baylor University in 1989.
