Elder Elnora Overton

Elder Elnora Overton is a native of Maringouin, Louisiana, now resides in Euless, TX. She is a graduate of Southern University of Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with Accounting as her major. She received her Master’s in Theological Studies, her Doctorate of Ministry in Christian Counseling and her Doctorate of Philosophy in Theology from Vision International University.
She is a faithful member of Dayspring Family Church where Bishop Kevin Dickerson is Senior Pastor and Sonjia Dickerson serves as Pastor. She is the Director of Missions at Dayspring Family Church and planned the exploratory mission trip to Port Au Prince, Haiti in which God blessed the group to meet with the Government of Haiti. She has traveled to the nation of Tanzania which is in East Africa for many years and God has used her to impact women in this country. She has ministered in women conferences in Moshi, Machame, Kilimanjaro and Dar es Salaam which are all in Tanzania.

She serves as a Conference Chair for Dayspring Ministries Women Conferences for 16 years. She serves as instructor of Leadership training for Elders, Ministers and Leaders of Dayspring Family Church. She serves in, WINGS (Women in God’s Service) and in the Nursing Home Ministry and Prison Ministry.

She is a servant, teacher, preacher, intercessor and warrior for the Kingdom of God. God has called her to teach and train others and provoke them to seek and fulfill the purpose that He has for their lives. God has placed purpose in every one of us and it is my heart’s desire is to help everyone that I can to pursue and fulfill their destiny. God has called me to walk in His power and authority. I am called to teach and preach the gospel to all nations.
