Kathryn Griffin-Grinan

Kathryn was born in Inglewood, California and after being adopted, grew up in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She came to Houston, Texas at the age of 16 on a scholarship to Texas Southern University. Afterwards Kathryn pursued a career in the music industry and performed with world renowned recording artists like Rick James and George Clinton. Elder Elnora Overton is a native of Maringouin, Louisiana, now resides in Euless, TX. She is a graduate of Southern University of Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with Accounting as her major. Joanna received her BA in International Business Relations from the University of Economics Varna, the leading economics university in the country she grew up in - Bulgaria. She moved to the United States on July 4, 2004 and in 2009 received a Masters Degree from Texas Christian University. Before joining American Airlines Joanna worked in the Corporate Travel, Investments, and Healthcare Management industries, Joanna joined AA in March 2011 as a Commodity Manager in charge of the Rolls-Royce engines desk, managing AA’s agreements with Rolls-Royce for the total care of all AA Boeing 757 and Boeing 777-200 engines. In April 2012 Joanna was promoted to a Senior Commodity Manager and in October 2012 she was selected and promoted to the position of Manager of Purchasing at Texas Aero Engines Services Ltd.; AA and Rolls-Royce’s Joint Venture company. Rage Almighty, a Boston native living in Dallas,Texas offers a new approach to stage performance. Using poetry, acting, and comedic performance as his medium, Rage delivers clever rhyme, rant, and rich lyrics saturated in edgy satire, social commentary, a “no holds barred” attitude. In addition to his artistic ability, Rage is also a community activist. He believes in leading urban youth toward leading positive lifestyles that is centered on expressing themselves through art. A-WOW GLOBAL INITIATIVE INDIA

Nasik, State of Maharashtra, India A-WOW is focused on women empowerment in nine countries. in 2016, the Founder and CEO of AWOW, Carolyn Wright, was in India opening up a store in Nasik to market quilts and other products produced by widows in rural areas of the State of Maharashtra. AWOW will also conduct a Global Young Women Leader Summit for women 18 to 24 years old in Dallas on July 24th to August 4th. One or more young women managing the store will attend. Planning is moving forward to establish an online store to market the quilts as well as items from Mexico, Indonesia, and other locations.
